2016 GMC Canyon Blog

Welcome to the DEALERSHIP 2016 GMC Canyon User Experience Page

The highly anticipated 2016 Canyon with the turbocharged diesel engine arrived in 2016. Most Canyons are equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine generating 305 hp at 6,800 rpm and 269 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. The diesel premium gets you a 2.8L four-cylinder engine that produces 181 hp and 369 pound-feet of torque.

The Canyo's Diesel Powerplay produces an abundance of torque from just 2,000 rpm, making it ideal for towing.

The Canyon's 3.6-liter V6 generates more harsher than its import competitors.

The 2016 Canyon's rugged looks, and substantial engineering make it perfect for highway or more-adventurous travel.

As far as IntelliLink is concerned, graphics are pleasing, the virtual buttons are large and easy to use, the system supports text messaging, and Wi-Fi access is available through the OnStar subscription services technology. What’s even better about the Canyon’s infotainment setup is that it serves primarily as a reference rather than as a tool. Lots of clearly marked knobs and buttons provide access to radio and climate functions, and using the “Home” button makes it easy to quickly access the system’s main menu and choose from a number of selections.

The Canyon's cabin is ergonomically friendly with easy-to-see and use controls, comfortable seating and loads of optional features that make it fun and inviting.

GMC offers an optional forward-collision warning system for the Canyon. When placed in its medium sensitivity setting, it alerts the driver to the upcoming obstruction.. A lane-departure warning system is also available.

What others are saying!
